A few practical notes for your arrival or departure.
Arrive at least 2 hours before a short-haul flight and 3 hours before a long-haul departure.
The airport is right on the coast, a few kilometres east of the centre — but the highland destinations are long mountain drives: Uzungöl is around 2 hours, Ayder longer.
Most Trabzon transfers are day-runs into the mountains rather than hotel drops. Tell us where you want to stop and we will price the whole route.
Mountain roads can be slow in rain or fog. Allow generous time when heading back for a departure.
