One terminal, one of the largest in the world — and a long walk.
Flight information, terminals and transfer destinations for every airport we serve.
Istanbul Airport runs everything from a single terminal building.
International and domestic flights share one terminal. It is very large: the walk from a far gate to passport control can take 20 minutes or more, so do not judge your connection time by the map.
Baggage reclaim and the meeting area are on the arrivals level. There are several exits — your driver waits at the agreed meeting point with a name board.
Check real-time flight status on the airport's official site.
Fixed prices per vehicle, door to door. Pick a destination to start your booking with this airport already selected.
A few practical notes for your arrival or departure.
Arrive at least 2 hours before a short-haul flight and 3 hours before a long-haul departure — at IST, closer to 3 hours is safer.
The airport is on the European side near Arnavutköy, around 40 km from Taksim. Allow 60–90 minutes into the city, more at rush hour.
Istanbul Airport (IST) and Sabiha Gökçen (SAW) are on opposite sides of the city and are not interchangeable. Check which one your ticket says.
Duty-free, restaurants, currency exchange, lounges and car hire are all available airside and landside.
