Terminals at a glance

Sabiha Gökçen operates from a single passenger terminal.

Terminal

Main Terminal (International & Domestic)

International and domestic flights share one building, with separate arrivals and departures levels. It is far more compact than Istanbul Airport.

Good to know

A few practical notes for your arrival or departure.

Arrive at least 2 hours before a short-haul flight and 3 hours before a long-haul departure.

SAW is on the Asian side at Pendik. Sultanahmet and Taksim are across the Bosphorus — budget 60–90 minutes, and considerably more in rush hour.

Do not confuse SAW with Istanbul Airport (IST) on the European side. They are roughly 70 km apart and a transfer between them is a long, expensive drive.

Duty-free, cafés, currency exchange and car hire desks are available in the terminal.

Whichever terminal you land in, we'll be there.

Share your flight number when you book and we'll track your arrival.
