A few practical notes for your arrival or departure.
Arrive at least 2 hours before a short-haul flight and 3 hours before a long-haul departure.
Kayseri is roughly 80 km from Göreme — about an hour and a quarter by road. It is the farther of the two Cappadocia airports.
Balloon flights leave at dawn. If you are arriving the night before, a pre-booked transfer is the difference between making one and missing it.
