The general rule of thumb
Book your transfer as soon as your flights are confirmed. It costs nothing to lock in a fixed price early, it's one less thing to think about before you fly, and it guarantees your preferred vehicle type is available. That said, this isn't a scarcity pitch — Agne Tours runs on fixed WhatsApp bookings, not a call centre with limited slots, so even a booking made the night before your flight, or after you've already landed, can usually still be accommodated. If you're reading this from the arrivals hall, message us — don't assume it's too late.
When timing actually matters
There are two situations where booking earlier genuinely helps rather than just being tidy admin.
Peak season (June–September)
Antalya's high season runs roughly June through September, when flight volumes into AYT are at their highest and every transfer company on the coast is busiest. Standard sedans are rarely an issue, but VIP vans and minibuses for larger groups get reserved earlier simply because there are fewer of them to go around.
Turkish and European school holiday weeks
Beyond the general summer peak, specific weeks spike harder — Turkish school holidays, and UK, German, and Dutch half-term or summer breaks all bring waves of families arriving on the same days. If your trip lands in one of these windows, booking a week or two ahead rather than the night before gives you more certainty on vehicle choice, though a standard transfer is still almost always available.
| Scenario | Recommended lead time | Why | Cutting it close? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Peak summer weekend (Jun–Sep) | 1–2 weeks ahead | Vehicle choice widest, especially VIP/minibus | Usually fine, standard cars rarely sell out |
| Shoulder season (Apr–May, Oct) | A few days ahead | Comfortable buffer, rarely tight | Yes, almost always fine |
| Off-season (Nov–Mar) | Even same-day is fine | Quietest period on the road | Yes, almost always fine |
| Late-night arrival, any season | A day ahead if possible | Confirms driver on duty for your slot | Still workable last-minute — message us |

This is where booking early actually pays off, because it removes the one real risk of planning ahead: your driver tracks your flight number, not the clock. If your flight is delayed, brought forward, or the gate changes, we adjust pickup automatically — you won't be charged extra, and you don't need to message us unless the change is significant (like a different arrival day). Prices are fixed at booking regardless of how the day actually unfolds, so there's no financial downside to booking well ahead of your trip.
Practical tips
- Have your flight number ready when you message — it's the one detail that makes flight tracking possible from the start.
- Confirm your exact passenger count and luggage upfront, especially if you're close to the limit of a standard vehicle.
- If your travel dates fall in July or August, booking a week or two ahead gives you the widest choice of vehicle, though it's rarely essential.
- Booked last-minute or already landed? Message us directly on WhatsApp — we'll tell you straight away if we can help.
