Pamukkale: unmissable, but block out a full day
Pamukkale's white travertine terraces and the ruins of ancient Hierapolis are one of Turkey's genuine must-sees — but they're roughly 3.5 hours' drive from Antalya each way, so this isn't a quick half-day add-on. Most visitors either commit to a full day (a very early start, a long drive both ways, and a few hours on site) or book it as an overnight trip with a stay near Pamukkale itself. If you're short on time, or based somewhere the drive is even longer, weigh whether it's worth the road time against the closer options below.
Aspendos and Perge: Roman ruins, easy half-day
For a genuinely impressive ancient site without the long drive, Aspendos and Perge are both under an hour from Antalya. Aspendos has one of the best-preserved Roman theatres anywhere in the world — still used for performances today — while Perge offers a sprawling ruined city you can walk through at your own pace. Either works comfortably as a half-day trip, and both can often be combined into one outing if you start reasonably early.

Düden Waterfalls: the easiest trip of all

There's a park with walkways and viewing platforms, and it's an easy add-on to a day that also includes the old town of Kaleiçi.
Kekova and Demre/Myra: boat trips and ancient history
Further along the coast, a boat trip over the sunken city of Kekova and a visit to the ancient rock tombs and St Nicholas church at Demre/Myra makes for a memorable but long day out — around 2.5-3 hours' drive each way. It's best treated as a dedicated full-day excursion rather than paired with anything else.
